Created out of necessity and boredom, Damn The Gods was formed in 2004 in SE Iowa. With the desire to make loud fuzzed out rock and roll, Damn The Gods was blessed with great success, touring all over the midwest and playing with such bands as Weedeater, High On Fire, The Thrones, Bongzilla, Minsk, Indian, Bottom, and EarthRide. We signed with (formerly) Mushroom Cloud Records of Des Moines, IA and recorded this album shortly thereafter.
Sadly, we lost our Brother and bass player Keith in September of 2008. We just didn't have the heart to continue on at that point. It was a major heartbreak for all of us and we just needed time to heal. We have all stayed active within the music scene but that itch to fire it up once again is an itch that needs to be scratched.
The Boys are currently working on new material and planning a few reunion shows. Stay tuned.
